Each July, the mountain roads around St. Moritz echo to the sound of British engineering as more than 100 classic cars gather for the British Classic Car Meeting. Established in 1994, the event has become a fixture of the Engadin summer calendar, bringing together owners and enthusiasts from across the United Kingdom and Europe.
The programme combines scenic excursions through the Alpine landscape with a traditional time and distance rally, culminating in the Concours d’Elégance, where some of the finest examples of British motoring are presented against the backdrop of the Swiss Alps. While the focus remains on classic vehicles built before 1980, selected modern models with notable heritage or significance are invited to take part in the Young Classics category, creating a dialogue between past and present.
Set among high mountain, historic villages and sweeping valley roads, the British Classic Car Meeting offers a distinctive way to experience both automotive history and the landscapes of the Engadin.
