About Field Kit
Field Kit documents the equipment used by Super Alpine in the mountains and on the road. From clothing and bags to cameras, storage and everyday essentials, the collection focuses on things that have been taken into the field.
The articles look at how equipment performs beyond the specification sheet, considering durability, practicality and the realities of using it in changing mountain conditions. The emphasis is on useful experience rather than conventional product reviews. These articles record equipment that has become part of the working kit used for photography, travel and exploring the Alps. Some pieces have lasted for years, others have proved less successful.
Field Kit is part of Super Alpine's wider approach to documenting mountain life, where the equipment used to move through, photograph and understand the landscape is as much part of the process as the finished work.
