Fine Art Print Paper

Print types explained

Giclée

Giclée prints use pigment based inkjet technology on archival papers. This process gives a wide colour gamut, excellent detail, and the ability to reproduce textured or painterly surfaces faithfully. Giclée is ideal for artwork, illustration, and photographic images where surface, texture, or highly saturated colour are important, and pigment inks with archival papers offer long term stability.

C-type

C-type printing is a continuous tone, silver halide process produced on professional photographic papers. It renders subtle tonal transitions and natural skin tones with exceptional smoothness and deep blacks, making it an excellent choice for conventional photographic work where classical photographic finish and tonality are priorities.
